Pen and Ink Sketch from The Journal of Painter and Sculptor, Mark M. Mellon

for probably 3 months now, I have been working at carefully verbalizing each of the sub series within The UNTITLED Collection. Each sub series is in a way a 'chapter' of the over all collection... an abstract story, an obscure mythology.... a peculiar philosophy. A Blend of Expression. The Surreal and Classical imagery and color.


yesterday, after abandoning the attempt to verbalize the works, I started sketches for the larger panels of UNTITLED.


The paths and trails converge at mouth of The Mountains of the west.
